Melynda Rushing
Owner and Tax Preparer

Melynda founded Little Giant Tax Service in 1994. Her love of accounting, of our Rock Hill community helped her thrive in this business for the last 28 years.

Started as a one-woman shop, Melynda has grown Little Giant Tax over the years. Whether she is meeting with clients over the distance of Zoom or following safety protocols in person, Melynda loves meeting a client face-to-face.

Danielle Hoyles
Office Manager and Tax Preparer

A native of Rock Hill, Danielle has been a member of the Little Giant Tax team for 20 years. She majored in Physics at North Carolina Central University, and she chose to work in accounting because she “loves math.” With her big smile and sweet laugh, Danielle makes her clients feel like family.

Helen Helms
Front Desk Manager

Also a Rock Hill native, Helen has been a member of the team for 10 years. She enjoys working at both the York Technical College bookstore and Little Giant Tax, where she is often the first person that clients meet. Helen says her coworkers and clients are the reason she loves the Little Giant family.

We are committed to giving our clients the best tax filing experience, which is why our tax preparers voluntarily complete the IRS’ Annual Filing Season Program every year. To earn a Record of Completion, each person must obtain 18 hours of continuing education, renew their Preparer Tax Identification Number, and pass a test. This ensures that we stay up to date on current tax filing protocols, allowing us to better serve our clients.
