Final Deadline – 2014 Tax Returns Close April 17
The IRS just created a reminder that over 1,000,000 people who did not file their taxes in 2014 are eligible for $1.1 B in tax return funds.
The last date possible to file your 2014 taxes and get a tax return is April 17.
Those who are owed tax returns but do not file taxes in any given year have 3 years to claim the tax return before those funds are returned to the US Treasury. To gain access to these funds, work with our tax preparers to make certain that you have filed taxes for the last 3 years.
The IRS may hold funds if you have not filed a return for 2015 or 2016 as well. Additional reasons that the IRS may hold the 2014 refund are for state, local, or Federal tax bills, for child support or for past due debts to the US Government.
